Carl Lundgren has his MBA from University of Rochester Simon School EDP and his BS from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Chemistry. Previously he has been Vice-President for Research and Development for Young/Rochester Corporation and an affiliated company Young Energy Systems, Inc; responsible for energy related product development. Carl joined RIT in 1981 and is a Professor in the Mechanical Engineering Technology program and a Faculty Associate in the Simon Center for Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship. He has been leading product discovery at CedarCreek P&T, and also steering research and development activities at the company. Carl's unique perspectives and creativity are complementary to his extensive experience.
